Madras Special - Multi Dhal Dosa

Madras Special -   Multi Dhal Dosa

Ingredients:


   Boiled idly rice - 1cup
   Channa dhal - 1/4 cup
   Moong dhal - 1/4 cup
   Urid dhal - 1/4cup
   Toor dhal - 1/4cup
   Ginger - 2inches
   Green chilis - 4
   Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
   Mustard - 1tablespoon
   Curry leaves 
   Asafoetida - 1/4 spoon
   Salt - As required


Dough preparation:


   Soak rice and all dhalls in water for 3hours and grind it along with ginger,green chili and coconut.Add salt as required.Dough is ready.


Procedure:

   Make sure the dough is not so watery.
   Prepare thin dosas by keeping the dose pan on the stove in low flame.Apply oil on all sides.Serve it with spicy onion chutney.



Ingredients for Onion chutney:

   Onions - 4
   Tomatoes - 3
   Red chilis - 6
   Garlic pods - 4
   Grated coconut - 1tablespoon (Optional)

Procedure:

   Place the pan on the stove and add oil to it.
   Add above mentioned ingredients to the pan and allow it to cook.
   Once it is cooked , remove the pan and allow the mixture to cool and blend it in the mixer.
   Place the pan on the stove and add oil,mustard,curry leaves to the oil.Once mustard sputters,add the chutney to it.
   Keep the chutney for few minutes and transfer it to the serving bowl.


Delicious multi dhall dose and spicy onion chutney is ready to serve.
